Luxury Brand Partners announces that it will be hosting Front Row 2016, a four-day event in which industry leaders will deliver education and share experiences with top salon owners, stylists and trendsetters from around the world.

The event is set to take place from January 9-12, 2016 at Mana Studios in Miami and will feature an array of talent from Oribe Hair Care, R+Co, V76 by Vaughn, Smith & Cult and Goldwell, including showcases from Howard McLaren, Garren, Thom Priano, Dineh Mohajer, Vaughn Accord, Ronnie Stam, Kien Hoang, Joey George, Coby Alcantar, Louis Orozco, IGK Salon and Vivienne Mackinder. Additional notable names will include: Good to Great author Jim Collins delivering the key notes, Barney’s Creative Director Simon Doonan taking part in a special presentation, and comedian Natasha Leggero being featured as a guest host.

In addition to main stage performances from some of the most talented names in the industry, Front Row 2016 will offer a variety of attractions, such as hands-on hairstyling sessions taught by master educators, celebrity-hosted forums and special events and entertainment ranging from poker tournaments, pool parties and fitness classes.

Lead stylist Kien Hoang for Oribe Hair Care

This season menswear designer David Hart was inspired by the show The Twilight Zone and the static that appears on old television sets. The inspiration manifested in playful prints, bold color combinations and expert tailoring which have become David’s signature. Lead stylist Kien Hoang for Oribe Hair Care, who has been styling the David Hart show for three seasons, created a sleek, ‘60s-inspired look with a deep side part. "I've been working with David since the beginning, and he has a particular way he likes the boys to look. We kept the guys polished and with a '60s flair," said Kien. (Oribe.com)

SIR New York designer Auston Bjorkman sent us on a trip to deep space with his extraterrestrial-inspired Fall/Winter 2014 collection. With its black lights and neon decorations, the room at Number 8 club in NYC set the stage for Auston's streetwear designs, which incorporated fluorescent details. To complete the alien vibe, lead hairstylist and Oribe Educator Kien Hoang painted each model's hair neon orange. "This year Auston cast several twins for the show, but no two looks were the same," Kien explained. Kien used Sculpting Cream to sculpt the hair into place, then accented each look with orange hairspray. (Oribe.com)

Hairstylist Amy Farid was influenced by Luar Zepol designer Raul Lopez's upbringing in 1980s Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for her high-concept hair look for his Fall/Winter 2014 show. "Raul was really inspired by the boys on the block who would go to the neighborhood salon to get highlights," Amy said. "The idea is that this guy was sitting in the salon getting highlights, then something happened and he had to run out real quick with his frosting cap still on." Amy and her team placed old-school frosting caps on each model's head and pulled the hair through before applying a generous amount of Original Pomade to the strands and spraying the hair with white powder to create the "frosting" effect. Some of the boys with longer hair also got tiny curls in the front, which were set with Superfine Hair Spray. Other models were decorated with hair foils to appear as if they were getting highlights. The overall look was a great fit for this urban luxury line of menswear. (Oribe.com)
