Women’s fall style is always full of formal silhouettes, warm fabrics, and, of course, heavy layers. Giving these classic fall styles some trendy flair, keep an eye out for pieces with delicate Victorian touches or playful fringe accents. Victorian era fashion has been a common fall inspiration for many years, yet can be a tricky trend to emulate—given the fine line between it looking glam and grandma-like. Instead of adding loads of ruffles or cascading silhouettes, look for simple tops in lace fabrics with neutral hues or classic button-ups with flattering, high necklines. When talking fringe details, consider trimming a fall staple accessory, like boots or a coat, with this look, giving your traditional fall style an edgy look. The statement bauble is another trend making a comeback this season. This fall, look for oversized jewelry with minimal design. Cocktail rings and large scale necklaces are an easy way to feature this trend, but consider a fresh take using brooches and earrings as an alternative way to showcase this statement piece style.
